Yogi Adityanath removes state DGP Mukul Goel for ‘inaction’ ‘inefficiency, neglecting work’
UP DGP Mukul Goel has been off from the highest police post by CM Yogi Adityanath for not being “efficient throughout work.”
In an associate new move by the state government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath removed the Director General of Police (DGP) Mukul Goel from his post on a weekday, stating reasons of “inefficiency” and “neglecting work” for relieving him.
Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar has been given the extra charge of the state’s captain, a further cabinet minister (Information) Navneet Sehgal told PTI.
Goel has been created the Director General (DG) of the Civil Defence Department, the statement aforesaid.
Additional that Goel was off from the post of DGP for neglecting official work, not taking interest in division work, and unskillfulness.
Goel, a 1987-batch IPS officer, was appointed the state captain in Gregorian calendar month last year. Before that, he had served as an extra director-general of the Border personnel.
Born in Muzaffarnagar, Goel encompasses a B.Tech degree in applied science from the Indian Institute of chronology, Delhi.
