What do you know about World Development Information Day?

In the year of 1972, the general assembly was created. The aim was to draw the attention of the globe to the development problems and the urge to strengthen international cooperation to solve them.

Improving the dissemination of information and the mobilization of the opinion of the public, the young people would lead to the greater awareness of the problems of the growth.

The digital divide in the access of ICT tools and broadband connectivity between nations at different phases of development. It affects both socio-economical relevant applications in the areas such as government, business, health, and education.

To provide the new solutions to the development of the challenges in the globalization context and can foster the growth of the economy, competitiveness, the access of the knowledge and information, poverty eradication, and social inclusions that help to expedite the integration of all the nations especially the developed ones into the global economy that the ICT is potential of.

The ICT  presents new scopes as well as the challenges and there an urge that is pressing to address the impediments that the developing countries face in accessing new technology, infrastructure, education, capacity, investment, and connectivity and the issues related to the technology ownership, standards and flows to the developing countries.
