The second case against BJP’s Nupur Sharma for hurting spiritual sentiments on TV

BJP leader and national interpreter Nupur Sharma have been suspected of creating objectionable remarks against the Prophet Muhammad.

BJP leader Nupur Sharma has been charged by the police in Thane’s Mumbra close to Mumbai once again for allegedly hurting the non-secular sentiments of Muslims throughout a TV discussion. Sharma has been suspected of creating objectionable remarks against the Prophet Muhammad.

The leader has been charged underneath many sections of the Indian legal code for ‘promoting enmity, outraging religious feelings, ‘uttering words with deliberate intent to wound the religious feelings of any person, ‘deliberate and malicious acts meant to outrage nonsecular feelings of a category by insulting its faith or religious beliefs, and alternative offences supported a grievance by one Gufran Khan, a teacher.

After the talk was airy Fri, Sharma tweeted screenshots of spoken communication that she is obtaining rape threats and her family is obtaining death threats. She labelled the urban centre Police in her tweets.

Last week, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, at a rally close to Mumbai, urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to require action against Sharma for her comments.
