Thank God Walk-In Audience Saves The Day For Ajay Devgn & Sidharth Malhotra Starrer’s Box Office Day 1 (Early Trends)!

Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra, debuted at the box office yesterday, and business has been fair so far.
First Box Office Day, Thank God (Early Trends): On the occasion of Diwali, the movie finally debuted in theatres yesterday after teaser trailers, posters, and teasers teased audiences. Along with Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn in the key roles, the movie also features an ensemble cast that includes Rakul Preet Singh and Nora Fatehi.
The film, directed by Indra Kumar, is competing with Ram Setu. In contrast to prior Diwali releases, this holiday season appeared uncertain given the post-pandemic shift in public sentiment. A double-digit score, if not a large start, was anticipated for the Ajay Devgn-starring movie, and it appears that has happened.
According to the early data coming in, Thank God has succeeded in getting off to a respectable start by earning 9–10.50 crores on its first day. Naturally, it’s less than one might anticipate from a Diwali release. However, keep in mind that other major events in the post-pandemic period failed, so this is a satisfying number given the poor prior booking and rivalry from Ram Setu. The movie has been salvaged by the walk-in crowd.
Ajay Devgn’s most recent appearance on the big screen was in the poorly received movie Runway 34, which came before Thank God. Rakul Preet Singh also appeared in the movie. Sidharth Malhotra, on the other hand, last appeared in the wildly successful OTT movie Shershaah. However, before making his big screen debut, he starred alongside Tara Sutaria in the box office bomb Marjaavan.
Currently, two movies starring Rakul Preet Singh are playing in theatres at the same time. Recently released film Doctor G, starring her and Ayushmann Khurrana, appears to be having trouble selling out at the box office. Overall, both the audience and the major actors have high expectations for Thank God. How much it brings in during the first week will be interesting to observe. How do you feel? Do inform us.
