Singer KK dies at 53 shortly after performing at Kolkata concert!

Krishnakumar Kunnath, 53, popularly known as KK, died while performing a concert on Nazrul Manch, Kolkata on 31st May 2022.

The playback singer folded once the concert and was hurried to a private hospital within the city. He was “brought dead” to Kolkata’s CMRI Hospital around ten pm, hospital authorities told india today TV.
The singer had earlier today posted photos from his concert at Kolkata’s Nazrul Mancha.

Born to Hindu Malayali parents, KK was brought up in New Delhi. He sang 3,500 jingles before breaking into Bollywood.

KK, one of the most versatile singers in the Indian film industry has recorded songs in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, and Bengali, among others.

Tweet by many celebrities expressing grief for the versatile singer’s sudden shock death.

“Extremely sad and shocked to know of the sad demise of KK. What a loss! Om Shanti,” wrote actor Akshay Kumar.
