Shashi Tharoor faces backlash for his ‘…attractive place to work…’ tweet; BJP leaders say one should take Parliament seriously

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has faced major backlash from the BJP MPs once he shared a picture on social media with six women members of Parliament captioned “…attractive place to work…”.

BJP’s Sunita Duggal same that Parliament has to be compelled to be taken seriously, as a result of the general public expects the MPs to work beside her.

“We have to be compelled to take the Parliament seriously; we’ll click selfies elsewhere. the final public expects an excellent deal from the U.S.A., so it is vital that we’ve got a bent to let the Parliament run properly,” she said.

Taking to Twitter, Tharoor wrote: “Who says the Lok Sabha isn’t a fine-looking place to work? With six of my fellow MPs this morning: @supriya_sule @preneet_kaur @ThamizhachiTh @mimichakraborty @nusratchirps @JothimaniMP.”

However, the Thiruvanathapuram MP shortly denote the Associate in Nursing apology message on his account.
