PM Narendra Modi picks up garbage From Delhi tunnel

Prime Minister Narendra Modi picked up garbage at the newly-opened ITPO tunnel in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan Integrated Transit passageway. On June 19, PM Modi was noticed walking through the recently opened tunnel, learning an empty bottle and alternative garbage as he went.

The prime minister, who may be a staunch supporter of the Swachh Bharat programme, inaugurated the most tunnel and 5 underpasses of the Pragati Maidan Integrated Transit passageway Project in the national capital earlier in June 19.
In October 2019, in a video shared on Twitter, PM Modi is seen learning plastic bottles, plates and alternative garbage from a beach in Mamallapuram whereas cardiopulmonary exercise.

PM Modi has continuously given the top priority to cleanliness be it Swachh Bharat Mission or Namami Gange. The Centre launched the Swachh Bharat Mission on October two, 2014, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The key elements of the initiative embody the development of toilets in each home, community and public bathrooms and solid waste management.
Coming back to the Integrated Transit passageway project, consistent with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), it’s an integral part of the Pragati Maidan redevelopment Project.
The Integrated Transit passageway project has been designed at a value of quite quiet, entirely funded by the central government.
It is aimed to supply hassle-free and sleek access to the new first exhibition and convention centre being developed at Pragati Maidan, thereby facilitating simple participation of exhibitors and guests within the programmes being command at Pragati Maidan, said the PMO release.

The main tunnel connects bypass with the Asian country Gate via Purana Qila Road passing through Pragati Maidan. The six-lane divided tunnel has multiple functions, together with access to the massive basement parking of Pragati Maidan. a singular part of the Tunnel is that 2 cross tunnels below the tunnel road are created to facilitate the movement of the traffic from either aspect of the parking lot.
