IIFA 2022 postponed, to be held in July

In the year 2022, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) is calibrated to be hosted by Riteish Deshmukh, Manish Paul and Salman Khan.


With the departure of the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the IIFA decided to postpone the year 2022 IIFA weekend as well as its Awards, which were organised to be held from 19 May 2021. The episode which was supposed to be organised on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi has been carried out to be held in mid-July.


With this heartbreaking news, the nation of the UAE has declared a sorrowing period of 40 days. According to a statement that has been read that the UAE executive and its netizen followed by the National sorrowing is being beheld. So the 22nd episode of the IIFA Weekend and its award is set to behold on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi from the year of 2022 as per the date that has been finalised is 19 th to 22nd of May.

The IIFA continued the statement which started by apologizing for the part to the audience as well as the ticket holders which promised them a bigger and more exciting celebration of the friendship between the two countries, the friendship between UAE as well as India.


Talking about the episode the Bollywood Sultan stated that the latest episode of IIFA will be a grandeur for him as this episode is going to be held at one of his favourite destinations. He also added that the event will be of a considerable size of commemoration as both the nation will celebrate the 75 years of independence of the nation of India as well as UAE’s golden jubilee.
