Hundreds killed in bomb blast during Juma-namaz in Afghanistan’s Shia mosque, biggest attack on Afghanistan since Taliban occupation

AFGHANISTAN’S northeastern city- (KUNDUZ’s Province), during JUMA-NAMAZ IN SHIA mosque splashed by a major bomb blast this recent Friday, took hundreds of lives. This is the biggest attack on Afghanistan after the Taliban’s takeover.
“Today around noon, there was an explosion in a mosque of our Shia compatriots, as a result of which many of our compatriots were martyred and many were injured,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said on Twitter, adding that a special unit was arriving at the scene to investigate.


The attack took over when the people of the SHIA community(Minority community ) were offering NAMAZ in the Idgah (KABUL).
ISIS-k reported, for designing the attack. According to Afghanistan’s security agencies, APROX 300 people were present in the mosque during the namaz this time. Another attack this week was reported on 3rd October which files 5 murders and 35 found injured. This is the second attack within a week.
In a statement identified the bomber as “MUHAMMAD-AL-UYGURI”, he was a member of China’s mainly-Muslim Uyghur minority, in a statement, ISLAMIC STATE said that an IS suicide bomber of SHIA’S worshipers who had gathered inside the mosque was denoted an explosive vest amid a crowd.

The residents also reported AFP that the blast hit the mosque during the Friday prayer-most important day of our Muslim week

Images shared on social media as well as news channels clearly show how brutal and horrific the clash was, with smoke rising around the mosque and blood-soaked bodies on the floor.

Also, an eyewitness to the incident, Aminullah, whose brother was in the mosque, said, “I called my brother after hearing the explosion but he did not pick up the phone.
This is not the first time the Islamic state accepts their attacks over the Shia community done after the Taliban’s takeover, on 26 August 2021 a clash was done on KABUL-AIRPORT in which 169 Afghanis and 13 American security staff were included. Another attack was also reported on 20-September in which 8 people including their, were murdered.
