How to sort out severe dandruff issues?

With the change of the season, a flaky scalp can be a major problem. To move out from these problems is a vital problem to many. So here in this article, I have mentioned some of the tips and tricks to get rid of this problem.
According to Dr Zenovia Gabriel of Zena medical dandruff is caused by a fungus known as Malassezia. As per Zenovia Malassezia lives naturally on the skin of many people but the imbalance or the overgrowth of the fungus leads to dandruff. When our bodies are constantly peeling off the dead cells, but at a detrimental rate an increase in Malassezia shoots the body to produce and peel the cells faster. The fungus which is known as Malassezia, the overgrowth can be caused by many things including hormones, age, stress, etc.
So here in this case you have to treat both the oil as well as the yeast and to prevent its ability to multiply you have to continue with us.

  1. Change your diet
A new york-based dermatologist, Dr Macrene Alexiades Armenekas stated that poor nutrition leads to dandruff whereas high food that is rich in carbohydrates builds up glycogen in the skin which yeasts feed on. Sugary foods and dairy stimulate the glands known as sebaceous which as a result produce more oil on the skin. So if you’re prone to dandruff you might need to try laying off the carbs and sugar.
  2. Cleansing your hair more often

Nowadays we want to stay alive for those dry shampoos where we used en number of chemicals, those blowouts which partially contribute to the whiteout situation to our scalp.
Nowadays we have this concept of using natural oils to sit longer on our scalp which adds to our dandruff problem. A trichologist at the Philip Kingsley, Trichological clinic Elizabeth Cunnane elaborates on how the yeast level increases when there is more oil on the skin and adds the statement Dr Weiser also stated that the oils and the dead cells accumulate together as a result of infrequent hair washing. So people who are prone to dandruff should more often wash their hair in a week.

  1. Make an effort to moisturize your scalp
We have heard about the exfoliation of our skin and moisturizing it now this may be new to some of us. So exfoliating your scalp gently lifts up to the top layer of dry skin with either a minimal amount of the salicylic acid which is commonly found in the products of acne or the granules that get easily dissolve.
  2. Usage of the Special Shampoo
Nowadays we believe if a person is prone to dandruff, that person should use a specific shampoo that is specialized by the experts in the most effective ways as well as for the fastest way to get rid of dandruff which is prescribed by the doctor or over the counters which contain both the properties of zinc and sulphur as we know these both properties can reduce the growth of the yeast population.
  3. Hot oil mask
As stated by Dr Weiser oil-based treatments helps to balance some of the scalp’s excessive oil production. Be careful to apply warm oil excessive hot oil can burn your scalp.
  4. Avoid Scratching your heads
Avoid scratching and try not to think about it. It’s itchy and tries to control the urge but scratching increases the irritation and inflammation. If you have sharp and long nails avoid scratching as it can cause open scalp wounds that can cause infection.
  5. Apply Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties which help to reduce the severe dandruff problems.
