How to book online cinema tickets for Rs 75 on National Cinema Day

All theaters offer cinema tickets for only Rs 75 to celebrate National Cinema Day. Book any cinema ticket on September 23rd at a great price.

The Multiplex Association of India (MIA) celebrates National Cinema Day on September 23rd. To celebrate this event, MAY is offering cinema tickets for only Rs 75 for 4000 screens in the country. Previously, it was decided to celebrate National Cinema Day on September 16, but it was postponed. Interestingly, a cinema ticket in any theater costs between Rs 300-500 on normal days. And if you opt for premium and reclining seats, you will be charged between Rs 1,000-1,500. But the big offer of Rs 75 for a movie on cinema day is a great treat for frequent cinema-goers.

The MAI also reported on the offer on the official Twitter handle, writing: “The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) and cinemas across India welcome moviegoers to spend a day at the cinema with a celebratory admission price of Rs 75, around to mark the National Cinema Day. National Cinema Day was previously announced for September 16th. As seeing the increase of the participation and request of the various stakeholders it will now take place on September 23.

Multiplexes such as PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival, Miraj, Citypride, Asia, Mukta A2, Movie Time, Wave, M2K and Delite have joined the celebrations, offering cinema tickets for films currently priced at Rs 75.

How to book tickets online for Rs 75

  • Visit the website of multiplexes like PVR or Wave or other third party apps or websites.
  • Register or log in with your data.
  • Select your city and the theater closest to you.
  • Find and select the movie you want to watch.
  • Now select the time and proceed to pay via UPI, internet banking or other methods.

Readers must note that third-party online apps or websites may charge additional fees. For example, in addition to the price of Rs 75, BookMyShow is still obliged to charge additional internet costs and GST. So if you don’t want to pay extra, go straight to the cinema on the day of the cinema to get the tickets.

With only one day left for the offer, many of the September 23 cinemas are sold out. Early risers jumped at the chance to start the weekend with a good movie. However, we checked various websites and even third-party apps, and there were still only a few tickets left. Luckily the morning shows are still available. So hurry up before all the shows get full.
