Google’s first wearable with a circular dial, the Pixel Watch, has made its initial appearance.
The much more recent Pixel Watch smartwatch, which was initially shown at the Google IO event in May, is Google’s response to Apple’s well-known Apple Watch series, which is exclusive to iPhones.
Similar to the Pixel Buds earphones, the Pixel Watch could be used with other Android devices, however, it is reported to perform much better with its Pixel devices.
According to Google, the new Pixel Watch dial is crafted of stainless steel that is 80% recycled, in line with the business’s environmental objectives.
Black, silver, and gold are the three colours available for their dial.
The wearable may be upgraded by users using various coloured straps.
Specs for the Google Pixel Watch
The Google Pixel Watch has a round 3D glass dial with touchscreen functionality, as was already stated.
Although it leverages WearOS, Google is also adding new features from Fitbit, a renowned manufacturer of fitness wearables that it just bought.
With its on-device ML (machine learning) abilities, Google claims that the Pixel Watch provides the best of both a fitness band and a smartwatch.
On the Fitbit Charge 5 and future smartwatches, customers may now see a daily fitness score.
Although consumers will receive a free six-month Fitbit premium subscription with the watch, the functionality is behind a paywall.
Also touted as having the most precise heart rate monitor available is the Pixel Watch.
It has fall monitoring, the same as Apple Watch does.
Several wearables by Samsung and Fossil are powered by WearOS, which is at the heart of the system.
Therefore, owners of the Google Pixel Watch may download various third-party applications like Spotify and Strava directly into the watch.
In addition, users may view notifications from Google-owned applications like Maps and Gmail.
The watch may also be used to control Nest gadgets.
Finally, Google boasts that the battery will last all day.
Google has also introduced the Pixel tablet and its Pixel 7 series in addition to the Pixel.
