Celebrity interior designer and wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, has been named in an FIR alongside two executives of a real estate firm in Lucknow, according to a recent report by PTI. The complaint was lodged on February 25 by Kirit Jaswant Shah against Tulsiani Builders’ chief managing director Anil Kumar Tulsiani, director Mahesh Tulsiani, and Gauri Khan, who is also the brand ambassador of the company.
Kirit alleged that he was induced to purchase a flat from the real estate company after seeing Gauri Khan promote it. He claimed to have bought the property for ₹85.46 lacks in 2015, with possession to be given by 2016. However, the builder failed to deliver the possession, and Kirit was given compensation of ₹22.70 lacks in 2017, with a promise to return all the money with interest if possession could not be given within six months. However, the company failed to repay the amount, and Kirit also claimed that his registered agreement to sell his flat was done with someone else.
The matter is currently being probed by the Additional Commissioner of Police, Swati Chaudhary. Meanwhile, Gauri Khan’s husband, Shah Rukh Khan, has been celebrating the success of his recent blockbuster movie Pathaan, which has grossed over ₹1000 crore worldwide. Gauri Khan, who is an interior designer and film producer, has worked on the houses of various celebrities, including Farah Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Ranbir Kapoor.
