Eating fish could increase your risk of skin cancer, study says

These individuals even have a 28th higher probability of abnormal cell growth within the skin’s outer layer. This is often called stage 0 cancer.

Researchers have conjointly aforesaid that it’s not the fish that causes cancer. According to researchers, it’s the high levels of bio-contaminants like mercury that cause cancer. Aside from mercury, contaminants like polychlorinated biphenyls, dioxins, and arsenic are also liable for cancer.

Presently, the authors don’t suggest any changes in fish consumption. In keeping with the authors, future analysis is needed to analyze contaminants that spoil the fish. The authors state that future research may reveal additional details regarding the link between fish consumption and skin cancer.

Daily intake of alcohol, caffeine, and average ultraviolet light levels were jointly enclosed in socio-demographic factors.

According to Dr Niti, fish is a source of phosphorus and a plentiful supply of metallic elements. The doctor stated that exposure to actinic radiation from daylight will increase the risk of cancer when discussing the connection between fish and cancer.
