Eating fish could increase your risk of skin cancer, study says

According to researchers, those with a fish intake of three.2 grams aren’t in danger. Compared to those individuals, people who have an associated intake of 42.8 grams have a 22nd higher probability of melanoma. These individuals even have a 28th higher probability of abnormal cell growth within the skin’s outer layer. This is often called stage 0 cancer.

Researchers have conjointly aforesaid that it’s not the fish that causes cancer. According to researchers, it’s the high levels of bio-contaminants like mercury that cause cancer. Aside from mercury, contaminants like polychlorinated biphenyls, dioxins, and arsenic are also liable for cancer.

Presently, the authors don’t suggest any changes in fish consumption. In keeping with the authors, future analysis is needed to analyze contaminants that spoil the fish. The authors state that future research may reveal additional details regarding the link between fish consumption and skin cancer.

Alternative socio-demographic factors like body mass index of participants, physical activity levels, smoking history, and case history of cancer were conjointly included. Daily intake of alcohol, caffeine, and average ultraviolet light levels were jointly enclosed in socio-demographic factors.

After this analysis, the question arises whether or not intense fish is nice for health or not. in keeping with a report revealed within the Indian categorical, Dr Niti Raizada aforesaid that fish could be a supply of Omega 3 Fatty acids. Fish is additionally a supply of Vitamins like D and B2.

According to Dr Niti, fish is a source of phosphorus and a plentiful supply of metallic elements. The doctor stated that exposure to actinic radiation from daylight will increase the risk of cancer when discussing the connection between fish and cancer.
