Covid Effects: Omicron and loss of students in India

As you know about the 3rd wave arriving in India there are things to be taken note of and implemented on them. Just like the condition of education in India during covid. We all know how the students got promoted, only some schools took exams. While, students were enjoying their leisure time they were also losing their precious years to covid, where they could have learned a lot and gained knowledge all that happened is the increase in screen time, obsession with video games, mental health issues, and physical issues.

Cases in states like Up, Delhi, Maharashtra, and other Indian states where there has been a rise in cases of covid have suffered a huge loss.

Physical issues faced by students:-

  • Obesity
  • Fatigue feeling.
  • Unproductivity led to disorders.
  • Viral
  • Sight issues
  • Migraine
  • Increase in sinus
  • Headache

Students who are already suffering from diseases increased their symptoms because of covid and not being active.

Mental health got weakened due to anxiety, stress, and other mental illnesses with it. There was unease in students and an increase in rates of depression in small children rose.

The education system lacked in tackling the situation in many ways. There were loads of assignments, exam pressure, and attendance issues because students started taking their studies lightly so did the parents.

Indian education system laden handling the condition in a mature way be a teacher or a student both of them faced difficulties, for example, technical difficulties, difficulty in adjusting to the new studying system which was online some of the students who didn’t have access to the Internet at times, access to gadgets at times, and the students who live in different states faced issues during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Although, it is great that the professors, Did their best to educate the school-going and college-going students. Yet, there has been a huge loss in knowledge, it was not proper as it is supposed to be.

It’s time for India to actually, now look for better ways during this time.
