The Munambam police on weekday arrested a husband-wife couple in reference to a theft at a petroleum pump last Thursday.
The arrested square measure Josna Mathew, 22, and her husband, 22, of Thrissur. The couple had allegedly gained entry into the workplace of the fuel pump at Munambam and stolen.35 lakh and a movable. They were arrested from a lodge at Athani.
The police also appropriated the vehicle the suspect had used for the theft.
Riyadh is an associate suspect in around 20 thieving cases in Ernakulam and Thrissur districts. The police conjointly suspect his involvement in similar fuel pump break-ins at Alangad, Thrissur, and Kunnamkulam.
