Atiq Ahmad, his brother Ashraf shot dead in Prayagraj, 3 attackers arrested

On Saturday, Gangster who turned into a politician Atiq Ahmad whose son Asad was killed in an hassle on Thursday was shot dead in Prayagraj. The blasting took place inside MLN Medical College demesne where they were being taken for medical examination in Prayagraj as mentioned by the reports. As further details are arising about the incident, news agency PTI reported that two- three people opened fire on them. The last solemnities of Atiq Ahmad’s son Asad Ahamd were performed and Atiq wasn’t present on Saturday.

As Atiq and Ashraf prepared to address the media, the murder was witnessed in real time on TV channels. As Atiq and Ashraf fell to the ground, sounds of magpie firing could be heard.

The Uttar Pradesh Police were questioning Atiq and Ashraf on Saturday at the Dhoomanganj policestation.The three bushwhackers, Sunny, Lovelesh, and Arun, have all been taken into guardianship.

After killing Atiq Ahmad and Ashraf while chanting” Jai Shri Ram,” the assaulters were caught by the police. Atiq and Ashraf were shot while being encircled by police. Multiple rounds were fired during the veritably close- range shots.

Police on the scene stated that the bushwhackers haven’t yet been questioned and that they will only speak after they have.
